I'm unclear which part is your satire, the don't matter or markets don't capture it. the true believers in markets think that markets have no defects and think it does address the issue. Actually the free market has incentives against such. When a thing becomes rare in an economic market its price sky rockets encouraging sellers to exploit and market it right down to the last unit. |
