Does my offer price HAVE to be in the MLS

Hi - I want to make an offer on a house that's listed in the MLS in Indianapolis. It's a fixer-upper so I DON'T want the low sale price to be entered into the MLS database, I want that info to be private. Realtor says the price has to go in the MLS database. Is this the custom elsewhere and is there a way to buy a house that's in the MLS and keep the sale price private ? Note that in Indiana, sale prices of homes are NOT reported to local government like they are in Illinois. Thanks ! . |
