so what you are saying is that they are going to be very conscious of an inverted yield curve? so basically if the 10 year and 30 year notes dont start increasing their yeilds soon, they can only hike 2, maybe 3 more times before we get an inverted yield curve? so it looks like they are at present going to cap their rate hikes at the 3% to 3.25% level? that would cause pretty much a flat yield curve amongst all time frames? and it also wont affect the housing market really except for ppl who are on very short term mortgages? since the 30 year fixed would probably remain where it is I guess this is all a balancing act by the fed to somewhat defend the dollar to keep foreign inflows / investment coming in, whilest not blowing up the local housing and local stock markets?
