Howdy, You can do the appraisal yourself. It's not terribly difficult. Start with the cost of buying the undeveloped land. Ask some local constuctions companies what the cost per square foot would be to replace the building(s). Do similar with other items to get their replacement costs. Have an insurance agency do an appraisal for what you should insure for. Combine, munch it around a little, add some padding to suit, and you'll be fairly close. |
