Technology gets better every day and the perception is that it is harder to get caught. And this isn't about the unemployed or the "working poor" or some other fault of the government. ONE part of it is the American baby boomer mantra of "I deserve to have... the Range Rover, the big house, etc." Those people are getting THEMSELVES in deeper and deeper over their heads and they're getting desperate -- committing crimes like embezzlement |
