Your help would be most appreciated. I am thinking of starting an Exclusive Buyer's Agency real estate company in Western Canada. Would you mind giving a quick reply or commenting on my business concept? Concept: To provide Real Estate services exclusively to Buyers. This will produce a better selection of properties to choose from. Since we will only represent Buyers, we will develop stronger specialized contract negotiation skills, which should result in lower purchase prices for our clients. My initial thought is to promote different levels of service – from a "self-serve" package for a minimal fee, to a premium service catering to high income, time poor executives. Background: In Canada, the seller provides the commission to the Buyer's agent, which, in the past, has been an industry accepted percentage of the selling price.
