"I make it VERY clear to both realtors involved, they can have all the inspections, attorney's, and sister who once took a real-estate course take a look at the home, but if they nitpick (and yes, I do use that word) I intend to go on to the next bidder. Of course if a boiler needs replacement or a window does not work and I did not disclose it, I will gladly fix it. " You can say anything you want to the realtors, but that isn't going to change a signed contract and allow you as seller to simply go on to the next buyer. That's the issue here. Had the OP had a lawyer review the contract this situation could very well have been avoided. This contract has many terms I never would have agreed to, nor does it sound like you would have, because you know better. If someone doesn't, then they need someone with experience to review it so they don't wind up |
