That means there are more people around with 800 than 2400 than 5.8. They've also priced sets based on frequency which contributions to the band usage. Digital is useful because it makes things more difficult to overhear with a scanner. Digital spread spectrum is useful because its more tolerant of frequency congestion and even hard to follow with a scanner. . |
