Listen, you and the original poster are free to do whatever the hell you please. However, I'm currently working in options trading and I see all kinds of things. This is a killer deal for the person selling this option (this "organization"), no matter what. There's very few advantages for the buyer. The buyer CAN NOT make any substantial profit on the house in this case, because as soon as the market value increases enough for the option writer to cover closing costs and transfer fees, plus a profit - the seller would be an idiot not to excersise the option. Risk for the seller - 0%. He already collected market value (or close to it) and made a profit. Risk for the buyer - close to 100%. Buyer will not receive equity on their home, since it will be taken away as soon as it's anything substantial. The buyer risks losing money on improvements and maintenance.
