so the contractor's two guys (possibly illegal immigrants but seem very nice) are leaving and at the end of last few hours of hemming and hawing, the contractor wanted to "recommend" an electrician friend to reinstall the porch light that his crew seem to be confounded by and stuck up *inside* the ceiling. The wires from the light inside the awning seem to be missing the protective covering now. Do I pay asshole contractor his full price? He didn't get to make some more of me because I told him to save his recommend because I have an electrician and my neighbors will testify that they see my light working every night before his crew showed up and pulled the light out for a simple nonelectical repair. He's saying now that the light and any electrical is not his responsibility and that we owe him the full amount. I've calmed down now from spamming him all over the internet |
