I am Having a new house built on my land in Fl.I hired a large national firm to build my house becouse I did not live in the area where the home was to be built. After all the crap that has gone on with this project in the last 14 months my advise to you is to build it yourself. Be your own contractor. Theres books you can check out at your local libaray to guild you. Hire local subs. You can save a bundle and get the house YOU want NOT a house that some large company wants to build for you with the cheepest materials available and the cheepest labor.With the money you save you dont have to worry about standard window sizes and all the other concerns your thinking about. Most folks only do this once so do it the way you want it done.If I had to do it over again That is the way I 'd do it.I have been living in a 30'camper with my fam for 8 months waiting for my contractor to get it done. cr113@hotmail.com wrote: > ! . |
