Assume OP losses his job for a prolonged period of time and starts missing payments. He'll be forced to sell/abandon the house in about the same time regardless of LTV, wouldn't he? True, with lower LTV he may have easier time selling, and he may end up with some extra cash. But the same would be true if he didn't have the CC debt and a higher LTV. Please enlighten me.
