I don't see how the laundromats percentage of utilities matters, it's your own that matter, but I think I see where you're headed. The real number to deduce is the utility cost per load; assuming all electric you will have so many cents for the wash, so many for the dry, and some infinitesimal amount for water. One way to save money (if you are inclined) is to buy used appliances. 'Round here you can get a clean, workable w/d pair for cheap, here's an ad from this morning's paper: "washer & DRYER Whirlpool Super Capacity, White, 2 years old, $ 250 for both". Can't beat that with a stick. here's another: "washer/DRYER Heavy Duty Large capacity Whirlpool.
