Thanks for all your replies. We are really curious too and no we have not stopped looking. Infact we had gone to an open house in the neigborhood when we saw their FSBO sign. We plan to give them a call and ask them why they backed out because the reason they gave - not liking our closing dates seems too weird, if they had a problem, why did they not approach us , we are renting and could have extended our lease. We had mentioned it to them and they had said no we can move whenever. So the whole thing is fishy. Also we were in the 3 day attorney review phase, and the seller was a realtor , so she probably killed the deal. Could be that they had more time, could be that a bunch of houses in the neighborhood are for sale now and they could be waiting for those houses to be sold to get a comparitive or better price. Or could be that they simply want to do it |
