Well, the only two things that are bound to work is putting one more layer of wallpaper on top of things or covering the whole mess with a new layer of sheetrock. I'd go with the latter option. If the wallpaper doesn't come off clean it's usually a lost cause trying to get it off. One thing you can try is a wallpaper steamer which helps quite a bit sometimes. If you're confident the wallpaper isn't going to come off clean it's probably best to start fresh. Painting over old wallpaper produces bad results. Every time. Don't take shortcuts here it's not worth the cost of paint. . |
