First of all, most of us are not scum. Secondly, it sounds like these signs were not on your property, but on public property. At least in Chicago, one can set up a temporary sign for a few hours (like for an open house) on public property, but we cannot leave them there. A permanent "For Sale" sign should be in front of your house, on your property. If you live in a gated community and your house is not visible from the street, then you need to ask your property manager for permission to hang your sign on the entry gate. Did you ask anyone before you placed your signs? . |
