If you paid attention, you'd see that the OP wanted to save money by doing some of the repairs himself. That is the issue. We all know he could hand over $1000 instead of making repairs. That's probably what the buyer would prefer, so your solution is to totally cave in without trying anything else? And contrary to your assertion, I see nothing that the purchaser is "unhappy" with the deal. Only that he wants repairs made by a licensed professional. For some of those repairs, that's very reasonable. Nice to see that at least now your recognize the contract is stil valid. . |
