we're building a house with several different floorings and I'm wondering what the best way to handle the height differences of the doors is? match all to the lowest floor and trim the high floor doors.. I'd like the door casings to be at equal heights. I hate having much gap at the bottom of doors... is there something else I should be considering? A lot of the doors in our house are visible at once but yet will be sitting on varying floor heights. I haven't ruled out laying another sub floor under the linoleums/tiles to bring them up to the level of the hard woods but would like not to do this. . |
