Leather Sofa - Which colour? (forgive me if wrong NG)

Apologies if wrong newsgroup. I'm moving into a new flat in a couple of weeks, its a 2 bedroom top floor, and its brand new. It has dark/navy blue carpet throughout and wall are like a cream colour - painted, presumably since its a rented property the landlord wants to make them last as long as possible. Anyways the living room is bare and I'm looking at getting a sofa. The catalogue store is doing a great promotion at the moment on leather sofa suite (buy a 3 seater and get a 2 seater free, a tight squeeze I thought for a small flat, but measurement wise it should work okay). I have no kids and I'm single if that's any help. I'm stuck on the colour, black or cream? Both same price, both same style. It seems to be 50/50 at the moment. I've had two females tell me that black won't go with navy carpet, and another saying black shows dust and dirt more |
