Not all creditors report to the same credit bureaus. Its always good to get your credit report from all 3. All 3 credit bureaus have dispute "sections" when viewing them online. If you do dispute a mistake on your credit report, the credit bureaus have 30 days to contact the creditor and validate the debt. If they cannot, then they are required to remove it from your record. They will notify by mail with their finding. Dont worry, disputing errors does not go against you one way or the other. . |
