The standard is normally about 2 inches. That works for very light duty driveways on a very solid base. 2 inches will break up pretty easily on an iffy base. The quote doing it in 2 lifts is a great idea. That lets the base lift get driven on and worn down a bit before the finish lift is put on, and you are getting 3 inches total. |
