You haven't mentioned where you live, and landlord / tenant laws vary by location, but in many places you can't kick anybody out of a rental property without advance notice, even if they haven't signed a written rental agreement. They are tenants at will, and many places require at least one full rental period's notice before you can evict a tenant at will.
