If budget is a problem, I'd go with the trailer-style melamine sheet goods. Should be about as cheap, and while tacky looking, will definitely be more durable. Check out scratch'n'dent aisle at big box, or track down local building supply salvage dealer. Most populous areas have one- they sell the odd lots and shopworn stuff from the name dealers, or places that go belly up. Local throwaway ad paper usually has ads for the ones in your area. |
