I don't know if Corian, or similar solid-surface materials, would survive, but it seems to me they ought to: they're basically plastic, after all. I think the biggest concern there might be how well it would hold up under continuous exposure to sunlight. I can't see a concrete countertop being any more likely than a concrete driveway to be damaged by ice and snow. What would cause it to "buckle"? |
