Check with your agent to make sure before you order one. If this is not the case in your area, and your agent did not put in a survey contingency, he did you a disservice. But I don't know what is common in your area. Real estate practices vary drastically by region. A friend bought a home in Indiana a few years ago and the practice there was to let the seller stay (rent free!!!!!) for a week or two after the close. People here go ballistic if the home isn't empty at closing. . |
