Bolt forms to footers?

Hello all, Being way out in the boonies we couldnt find a sub to form up a small addition foundation (20 x 27). Customer really wanted poured walls so reluctantly we decided to form it up with rented symons forms http://www.symons.com/products/steelply.htm Im not sure if I am thinking about this too much but I began to wonder what the chances were of the formwork for two windows and a door in the 27' wall (long wall parallel to the house) floating and causing the forms to lift off the footers. The doors and windows are framed with treated 2x material. Door frame is 41 x 84 and the two windows are 38 x 53. The window and door forms are all internally braced to prevent them from bowing in or collapsing and are screwed through the HDO ply on the forms. This means if they float with enough bouyancy they would lift the formwork causing a leak, and a bad one, at the footer/form joint. |
