Having gone through this twice in the last six months, I advise that if there is ANYTHING wrong with the unit as it comes out of the box, take it back. It's not worth the time and the hassle. Most Big Boxes won't notice or care if you screw something up a bit, but the little leak could point to a bigger future problem that you can't see right now. Swap it out.
