Had a paving contractor come by a few weeks ago. He was doing work in the area and said he was doing some "cold calling". We just built out house and have a gravel crusher run driveway. It was really done and pack well so I did not intend to get it paved for awhile. Any way he came back today to see if I was still interested. I've seen their trucks around and know they been in business for 20 + years. Anyway his brother (family owned) came by and made me a hard to turn down offer. Apparently they were to do a job but the people couln't move their bus so they had 2 trucks of asphalt, hence the good price. Anyway they didn't show so i called and they got their bus moved but still will honor the price tomarrow. The price is $3000 for a 4000 sf. driveway !!! Sounds great. At first it was $3800 the other week, then today it was $3700 down to $3500. They seemed desparate to unload the asphalt( only |
