I was thinking of joining Habitat and moving out with them but I haven't actually made the decision. Victoria BC is sending 200 Red Cross workers so I guess everyone on the continent will do the same. That's a lot of people! I see the economy there as a Gold Rush economy where the surrounding areas will go where the work is at first and after that the economy will improve. There is money to be made there I'm sure and it would be the right time to do something like that if you were wanting to start over. I also see hurricane relief as part of the economy in the south. Hurricanes happen there all the time so it becomes part of a vibrant economy. I would go there myself but right now there aren't any people in New Orleans (Warleans).
