I would love to hear more description how it was done ************************************************************* You take some 2x4's and cut them to the pitch of the roof and nail them up with hardened nails and wa la, you have collar ties. <g> I have no idea how you would ever put a tie in a concrete roof that would hold anything. Maybe drill a hole through the roof on both side and put some threaded rod through it and tighten it up with a turnbuckle. Without knowing how thick the roof is, ect, no one can give an answer. -- JerryD(upstateNY) My question is simple: Has any one seen collar tie used in a concrete roof. And if any one has had a first hand experience with this I would love to hear more description how it was done (not was designed). Thanks . |
