First of all if your lot is 400' x ? = 10ac then ? will be 1000'+. Second think about how much it will cost to put in Electricity ($15 per ft in Canada), Telephone, Water and Sewer, Driveway.... Are you there? The best advise I can give you would be to save the trees as much as possible and just cut branches wherever possible. This is good for pruning your forest as well. If you need wood off your property for whatever, taking several branches off different trees is always better that taking an entire tree! Hope this helps!
