I have built quite a number of homes with hip roofs that have different pitches from one plane to the other. For example: (Front and Back pitch was a 6 and the side pitch was a 9) or ( one was a 7 and the other was an 11) Either way on all homes framed the sofit and fascia was consistent on all sides of the house. However in order to make that happen the heel height of the trusses on the steeper pitches were higher to make the fascia and sofit consistent.
