I was referring to attic windows at the gable ends of the attic. The roof is a 12/12 pitch and the ceiling is 96". This space could be finished off if desired. The builder installed the window bottoms ( they are different height and width ) at the same 36" from the floor. This resulted in the tops of the windows being different distances from the ceiling. I would have done it with their tops at the same height ( 6' 8" ) . They are 40' foot apart but I still think it will look wrong.
