Proper way to pour concrete against wood framing?

Hello, I would like to add a concrete slab (about 20x30 feet) to the back of our house to be used as a patio. The grade slopes down about 4 feet from left to right along the back of the house and I would like to raise this area to reduce the number of steps leaving the back door. Because of the slope, the downhill side of the concrete patio will be against the framing of the house. How is this done typically to prevent water entering the wall? Is there some type of special flashing that can be used over the sheathing to create a barrier? I don't want a wood deck. Thanks ! . |
