Re: Max Slope for 3" or 4" Sewer line to Septic?

2%, um so I'm feeling slow today after spending most of it at the county Permit office... what does 2% translate into as far as Inch per foot? The Septic engineer there at the county office suggested that I might use the 3" over the 4 so the cup from the water flow would be higher to help with the transport of the solid. I'm all for using the 4", though the way my setup is, my Septic Tank is about 80' from the house and maybe 5' elevation difference. So thats about 1" every 1.3' or just under an inch per foot.
