Hello we are breaking ground today for a slab on grade house here in west central Minnesota. the entire floor will be insulated and a multi zone hydronic radiant heat system will be installed the walls will be 6 inch thick SIPs and the house will have blown in cellulose in the attic space to an or-50 level. My question deals with the electric hot water boiler for the floor heat system they are a new concept for me and I am hoping for some actual users of these units to give me some information on them I believe it will be a steffes unit as that is what our electric co-op sells so please any information would be of great help. bear in mind that our part of the world can see the occasional 40 below zero Fahrenheit and winter temperatures of minus 30 Fahrenheit are common. here Any electric boiler users out there? thanks. . |
