Most sewer work is done by professionals with transit and grade rod, so the % unit is easier to work with. Your tank is 80 feet away, 2% of 80 feet is 1.6 feet. So the change in elevation from house to tank is 19.2 inches, which works out to just under 1/4" per foot (80 x .25" = 20").
