Hey all, Had some questions I thought I would throw out in hopes for some input. Here aluminum has recently shot through the roof hence coil stock, flashing and so on. Metal roofs are very common in the area and when we do them we get all the trim, drip, and so on from the same shop as the sheets and they break whatever profiles we need to our specs. so we dont have to break it on site. With coil stock going so high having the metal company break all our standard white fascia, trim, and so on is actually cheaper than the coil stock and time to break it on site. My question however is that when doing a metal roof you can burry almost 100 percent of your field cuts under trim, laps, and so on where as with fascia and trim there are several field cuts that will be left exposed.
