Velux makes some high quality stuff. I've never had a Velux leak - but then again, I always use their flashing kits and have never used one on a metal roof. This from Yankee Barn Homes: " Yankee Barn supplies Velux brand skylights. We normally supply Velux flashing kits (for metal roofs, roofers may prefer to fabricate their own flashing kits)."
