Thanks guys for your reply... There are some issues with the existing structure. Its too big for a Granny unit in my County. Its about 1100SqFt where the limit is 840SqFt. the ceiling is an oddball height and the roof is horrid looking hip. Trying to fit what we we would like to have in the unit would take too much time and effor trying to retrofit the thing to be what we want. Its on a Slab and to saw cut all the plumbing in would be anohter horrid task. (-; I've worked with an Architect and it seems removing the walls seems to be the best option. Thanks, Scott<- . |
