The thing would dance around like a marionette without something to hold it to the ground. Of course if it were specifically designed to be floating for some reason and some how, that might be acceptable but I am not sure what that would be. Brackets can be hidden and you could also put the post in the pier blocks or use another means of anchoring the post other than a bracket. . |
