There are water restoration companies that will fix it all over the country. If I knew where you were I may be able to give you a name. If it is concrete maybe check with a company who builds basements and foundations. I dont know how old your house is, but I know most of the newer houses in the midwest use a tar to paint the exterior of the masonry and also run drain tile around the foundation and through the concrete pad/ basement floor. The water table is within 6' usually. I know this because I have built many items of this sort out of block, brick and concrete. Now adays I just build sewer and water plants, bridges, and flood channels. We use the same principals just on a larger scale. This is my experience you should always do your research, but this is usually a good place to start.(I have to put this because some people take examples to the word) Andy W. . |
