Thank you everyone for the replies, advice, and revised image. Home is not ours YET, (FSBO business associate leaving for Europe) and everything else about it is fine cept the garage. (wife could care less.) Perhaps the other 95% that is good (very private and quiet, nice woods, great schools, 4 BR/3.5 BA/3100sf, Huge W/O basement/deck/ patio, miles of paved trails, 3 private lakes...) still make it attractive, especially for the $210k price. A concern of mine is will the smallish garage situation effect the homes future sales desirability? Ironic, but in my current neighborhood about half the garages are so full of junk, that parking in the garage is impossible, and they should be called attached "sheds". Guess you have to build to get *about* everything you want. Thanks again, Platil . |
