Thanks in advance. Well worth it in hot climates...not worth it or even counter productive in cold climates. see Rico's post. in addition the run time on the AC is reduced extending its life. When the nation moves to residential time of use metering you can cut peak time of use significantly with the attic fans, especially if they are solar powered. Solar powered will not be as cost effective as not, unless you get them on a utility subsedy and then also use the solar power to charge say an electric car or batteries you use with |
