where do you live - if you have adequate openings in both the ridge vents and soffits - that should be enough. Adding more insulation would probably be more cost effective - how much insulation do you have now? Adding another hole in the roof is another opportunity for leaks also - not familiar with solar powered vents but unless they are really cheap - would not waste the money. Ever measure the temp in your attic in the afternoon? . |
