I'm building a cottage that will be located on a large rock so the only solution that i can find is to build it on pillars and I would like to know what would be the best spacing between pillars and what would be the beam size required for that spacing. The roof is a gable roof with a 6/12 pitch sloping to the 36 ft side of the cottage (32x36). The cottage is one level only and the external walls will be built of 2x6. Thanks, G. . |
