I agree. No matter how you slice or dice it. When you get a loan, they first look at what did it appraise at. They will take the home, the surrounding houses around it and value it to the house. The land doesn't really mean a thing. This might also be due to the fact that the average home owner time in most suburbs is less than 10 years nowadays. (Don't quote me on that, read it somewhere).
