Although I fully agree with the risk of doing business on the Internet, I fail to see how you can honestly claim that your site is more secure. Technology is not the problem when dealing on the internet. It's the people, some good, some bad and some just totally scary. Unless you meet and interview people, you cannot claim that what you are doing is more secure. Some sites charge fees, this provide at least an identification and they do not claim that it is more secure. A Yahoo group has the same risks as other technologies and even local newspapers. A yahoo group is definitely not more secured. Granted that you may be able to weed out a few weirdoes, but that is not making it secure. You can claim that your site is MODERATED, but you exaggerate by claiming that it is secure. The best advice is to post an honest ad and be vigilant in your dealings. . |
