Following up to Martin >"it had been raining and the sun was low in the sky" >no mention of driving at 120km/hour with a metre separation between >each car. sadly nobody thinks/talks about appropriate speed any more, they just drive at the speed limit irrespective of conditions. I see in some countries they have brought in lower speed limits for wet conditions, anything but get drivers to consider speed in relation to where they are. Passing parked car: 15-20 Empty motorway: whatever you like. You *never* see drivers (boy racers or smug rule followers) adjust speed to what they might not be able to see. Everytime theres heavy spray on the motorway I get overtaken by hundreds of "law abiding" drivers who think they drive safely. (and will they switch poor visibility lights on?
