Good info Jay. I looked at the hotel, I usually shy away from the small hotels. A few years ago I stayed at the hotel Manfredi, also a boutique hotel only a block from spanish steps- unfortunately, no amenities. I like hotels with many amenities (business center, 24hr room service, dry cleaning, etc.). The Atlante Star, with about 100 rooms, is the smallest hotel I would use. Friends have stayed at the sheraton roma and say it's the closest to a U.S. style hotel. The problem with the hotel is location. What was your impression of the atlante star? The reviews complain the rooms are dark. I have to figure something out in the next couple days. . |
